PhotoShelter se complace en otorgar a un suertudo fotógrafo emergente de América Latina un lugar en el taller Boreal Bash en Oaxaca, México, Noviembre 1-3, 2016.

Este taller intensivo de tres días es para fotógrafos nuevos y establecidos que están interesados en la fotografía documental. El taller dará instrucción personalizada a los estudiantes sobre temas de su elección, así como experiencia práctica durante el Día de Los Muertos en las aldeas aledañas a Oaxaca. la beca incluye:

Para calificar, los participantes deben ser fotógrafos en activo y que han estado fotografiando profesionalmente (es decir, se les paga por su trabajo) durante ocho años o menos, tienen que haber nacido y actualmente estar trabajando en América Latina.

Para aplicar,  presenta un ensayo de 300 palabras:

• describe sus logros académicos/fotográfico
  
• Establece tus metas para su carrera profesional de fotografía
  
• Explica por qué asistir al taller de Boreal Bash le ayudará a conseguir tus objetivos
  
• un enlace a tu portafolio online
  
• por favor también incluye: tu nombre, donde vives, tu edad y el año que empezó tu trabajo como fotógrafo profesional.

Apply for your spot at the Boreal Bash Workshop, November 1-3 in Oaxaca, Mexico

PhotoShelter is excited to grant one lucky emerging photographer from Latin America a spot at the Boreal Bash Workshop in Oaxaca, Mexico, November 1-3, 2016

This three day intensive workshop is for new and established photographers who are interested in documentary photography. The workshop will give one-on-one instruction to students on topics of their choice, as well as practical shooting experience during Day of the Dead in the villages surrounding Oaxaca. The scholarship includes:

• A spot at the Boreal Bash Workshop in Oaxaca, Mexico
  
• $250 to use towards hotel/travel 
  
• A free PhotoShelter Pro account for one year

To qualify, participants must be working photographers who have been shooting professionally (i.e. being paid for their work) for eight years or less, were born in Latin America and currently located there.

To apply, submit up to a 300 word essay that:

• Describes your academic/photographic accomplishments
  
• States your goals for your photography career
  
• Explains why attending the Boreal Bash Workshop will help you achieve your goals
  
• A link to your online portfolio

Please also include: Your name, where you live, your age, and the year you began shooting professionally.

All submissions should be sent to marketing@photoshelter.com no later than MIDNIGHT ET on September 30, 2016. Recipients will be notified on October 7, 2016.
