Rafal Gerszak

Gerszak specializes in long-term documentary projects focusing on communities and people in the underclass of Canadian society and the conflict in Afghanistan.

Rafal's documentary work and short films from Canada and Afghanistan have been recognized by The National Press Photographers Association and News Photographers Association of Canada in addition to being exhibited internationally.

In 2010, he was selected as one of the winners of The Magenta Foundation annual international competition for emerging photographers, Flash Forward.
