The Boreal Bash events are a place where photographers can come together, learn from each other, drink and be merry. Previous Bashes have featured some of the world’s finest photographers, editors and art directors from Magnum Photos, The New York Times, VII Photo, The Telegraph Magazine and The Sochi Project. It is our goal to keep these events educational, informal and most importantly, accessible.

For the third bash in 2015, Boreal hosted a two-day documentary photography workshop, portfolio reviews, and a two-night speaker series in Toronto, Canada. A group exhibition of the collective’s work kicked off the weekend at the esteemed O’Born Contemporary gallery.
